Fifteen Years Of Creating Hannah's Legacy.
On March 21, 2011, four-year-old Hannah Ray Geneser suffered fatal injuries when a window screen gave way, and she fell from an open window. Her parents, Jamie and Shanda, along with family, founded the Hannah Geneser Foundation that same year — a 501(c)(3) non-profit for child-safety advocacy and organ-donation awareness.
What began as one family's response to unimaginable loss has evolved into a safety store and learning center inside Blank Children's Hospital, a statewide Window Safety Day, and the Hannah's Safety for All program, which donates safety equipment to ensure that every family in need has the ability to create a safe and sound environment in their home.
