Our story

Fifteen years of keeping Hannah's memory active.

On March 21, 2011, four-year-old Hannah Ray Geneser died when a window screen gave way and she fell from an open window. Her parents, Jamie and Shanda, founded the Hannah Geneser Foundation that same year — a 501(c)(3) non-profit for child-safety advocacy and organ-donation awareness.

What began as one family's response to unimaginable loss is now a learning center inside Blank Children's Hospital, a statewide Window Safety Day, and thousands of dollars in free safety equipment for families who need it.
